Khalid Strickland is a contrbuting writer for The New York Amsterdam News and Caribbean Life, two prestigous and well-read NYC newspapers; Rap Fanatic and URB, two nationally-distributed music magazines; and popular websites like The Smoking Section, Insomniac Magazine, IGN and URB online. As an independent contractor, Strick has penned biographies for several up-and-coming artists; he's also a contributing copy editor for Rap Fanatic.  Under the alias Dirty Angel, Strick edited and authored the DVD for The Spic'n Spanish Chronicles: Volume One, a project which features Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Ice-T, Lil' Kim, Remy Ma, Fabolous and Tiffany Mynx.  The DVD can be found in video stores and online.  Strick also wrote, directed and edited a gritty, low-budget film of his own, Thug Opus, which has spawned a sizeable cult-following.
